Privacy policy
Tangaza Social is made by Approve Pay Technologies in Nairobi. This policy says what this software keeps, why it keeps it, and who else receives it. It matches the screens you use. It was last updated on 5 November 2026.
Who we are
The service is Tangaza Social. The company that runs it is Approve Pay Technologies. You can write to us at notifications@approvepaytechnologies.com. The public site is tangazasocial.com.
The account
When you register we keep your first name, your last name, and your email. The password is stored only as a hash. We never keep the password itself, and we never put it in an email or in the change log.
You cannot sign in until you open the confirmation link. That link works for 24 hours and can be used once. A password reset link works for 1 hour and can be used once. We send a reset link only when an account uses that email. A change of email stays pending until you open the link sent to the new address. Until then, the account still uses the current email.
A signed in session lasts 30 minutes. The session is kept in a cookie and in the browser. When it ends, you sign in again.
The company and the topics
After you sign in you can save one company. We keep the company name, tagline, city, phone numbers, website, and the about note. We also keep the business details you add: headline, title, summary, detail, problem, benefit, look, and whether the detail is active. Those details are the topics used to make a video.
Connections
If you connect a network, we keep the account id, the app id, the access token, and the app secret for that network. The networks you can save are Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X. The table shows only part of each value. The full values are shown only after you enter your current password and it matches.
Those values are used to post on an account the company owns. Facebook posts go to a Page, not to a personal profile. Instagram posts go to a professional account linked to that Page. WhatsApp Status is shared from your phone. This software does not store a WhatsApp token. Threads and Pinterest are shown on the screen and are not posted from here.
Videos and activity
When you create a video, the server keeps the file for about 1 hour so you can download it. After that the server copy is removed. The file you downloaded stays on your computer. We keep a record of each share: the time, the network, the result, the title, and a link when the network returns one. Admins can also see a change log of what was created, edited, or removed, including a profile change. A password change is recorded as a change. The password is not written there.
AI drafts
If you choose Use AI, the description you type is sent to Anthropic so it can draft topics. You can use 5 prompts in a week. A draft is not stored until you save it. We keep the time of each prompt so the weekly limit can be applied.
Who else receives information
Brevo sends the confirmation email, the password reset email, and the email change message. The message contains your name and a link. It does not contain your password.
When you share a video, the network you chose receives the video and the caption so it can publish them on the account you connected. Anthropic receives the business description only when you ask for an AI draft.
How long we keep it
We keep the account, the company, the topics, the connections, and the activity while the account is in use. Confirmation links expire after 24 hours. Reset links expire after 1 hour. A session expires after 30 minutes. A server copy of a video expires after about 1 hour. You can ask us to delete the account and the company records we hold for it.
Your choices
You can read and change your name, email, and password on the profile page. You can edit or remove a company detail. You can replace or remove a connection. You can ask us what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to notifications@approvepaytechnologies.com.
This policy is written for people in Kenya and follows the Data Protection Act, 2019. You may also contact the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner. We do not claim a registration number on this page.
